Our commitment
Gen DubAI is designed for families with children aged 8 to 15. It was built to help families in the UAE talk about artificial intelligence. You trust us with your time and attention. We are committed to protecting your privacy, collecting as little information as possible, and being clear about what the platform does and does not collect.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Gen DubAI. When we refer to Gen DubAI, we, us or our, we mean [operating entity, for example, Dubai Future Foundation / Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence], [legal description and address to be inserted].

If we receive child-related Personal Information accidentally, we will handle it in line with this Policy and delete or anonymise it where appropriate.

Browsing
You can read moments, tools, activities, and resources without identifying yourself. We do not build a personal profile of you.
Age-band selection
Some content may ask you to choose an age band, such as 8 to 11 or 12 to 15, so that the platform can show more relevant guidance. This is used only to tailor the content you see. It is not used to identify you or your child.
On-device storage
Some features may remember your progress on your own device using your browser's local storage. For example, this may include:
- a checklist you have completed;
- a temporary marker that remembers you have passed the welcome screen;
- a preference that helps the site show relevant content.
This information stays in your browser. It is not transmitted to us. It is removed when you clear your browsing data.
Email sign-up
If you choose to join our mailing list, we collect your email address so we can send you occasional updates about Gen DubAI. We use your email address only for this purpose. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your email address at any time.
Feedback
Some pages may invite you to tell us whether the content helped and to add a short written comment. Feedback is optional. We use feedback to understand what is working, improve the platform, and identify common family needs in an aggregated way.
Please do not include your name, your child's name, school, contact details, photographs, health information, or other personal details in your feedback. If you include Personal Information by mistake, we will handle it in line with this Policy and delete or anonymise it where appropriate.

If you email us or contact us through a contact form, we receive your contact details and your message. We use this information only to respond to you, manage your request, and improve the platform where appropriate.
How we use information
We use the limited information we collect to:

The platform's share buttons may open WhatsApp or your device's share options with a ready-written message and a link. You decide whether to send the message and to whom. We do not post anything on your behalf. We do not see who you share with. We do not receive the content of your WhatsApp messages.
Once you are in WhatsApp or another third-party app, that app's own privacy policy applies. Copy buttons simply copy text to your device's clipboard.
Cookies, fonts, analytics, and tracking
Gen DubAI is designed to avoid unnecessary tracking. The platform's fonts are embedded directly in the pages. We do not call an external font service, such as a font CDN, to display fonts.
We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural advertising, or cross-site tracking. If this changes, we will update this Policy and obtain consent where required.
