About
Helping families raise children who use AI wisely, safely, and creatively.
Built in the UAE, for families in the UAE.
The vision
Children who thrive in the age of AI.
Your child's generation is the first to grow up with AI. It's already part of how they learn, create, and make sense of the world.
Children who thrive in the age of AI are wise, creative, and safe.
Parents feel connected, rooted, and supported in raising them. That's what we're working toward.
For your child
For you
What it is
What Generation DubAI is.
A free, bilingual guide for families raising the first generation of children to grow up with AI.
What it isn't
Guidance not pressure.
Generation DubAI does not push any family toward AI. If you choose to limit or avoid AI in your home, that is your right, and we respect it.
How it works
Three formats. Pick what works best for you.
Built to share.
All content on this platform is designed to be screenshotted or shared as a card, or a link. Awareness spreads better when people share with others they trust. Boundaries stick better for children when the adults around them are on the same page.
Who made this
Brought together in the UAE.
Generation DubAI is brought together by the Dubai Future Foundation and the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, in partnership with the Community Development Authority, under the UAE Year of the Family 2026.
A partnership of
How it was built
Global evidence grounded in UAE families.
The content draws on international guidance on children, digital safety, and AI literacy, including work from UNICEF, MIT RAISE, Common Sense Media, and Internet Matters.
It is also shaped by research and conversations with over 60 UAE families, and by the UAE context for child wellbeing, education, family life, and digital safety.
Safeguarding information and child-risk reporting routes have been informed by UAE law on child digital safety and protection, specifically Wadeema's Law (Federal Law No. 3 of 2016), the Cybercrime Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021), and the Child Digital Safety Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 26 of 2025).
This content has also been reviewed and validated by the Community Development Authority in Dubai. This first release is a pilot. We will continue improving the platform as AI changes and as we learn from families and partners.
